“How Is Your Flow?”
How is your flow? “He has to be in you in order to flow out of you.” – Pastor V.S. Brice
Pastor Brice was teaching on the characteristics of Christian discipleship. They are: First – Follow – Fruitful – Favor – Flow. Put God first – follow Him – be fruitful (develop and grow) – show favor (support and encourage other followers) – let God flow out of you (spread His Message, share what you have learned).
Read: Mark 8:34; John 8:31-32; John 15:5-8; John 13:34-35; and Matthew 28:18-20 for documentation.
Matthew 4:19 (NIV) “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men.”
Disciples, followers of Christ. When I hear the word, disciples, I think of the 12 men that followed Jesus. Yet, this is us! Being in the Word, discerning the Word, letting His Word sustain you, sharing His Word. Although our growth in the Word is never ending we are still followers of Christ, we are His disciples.
Therefore, I encourage you to grow into your discipleship so when you hear the word disciple – know that this is you – a follower of Christ – a sharer of His Word. Learn to live It – own It – love It – and most of all – show the God in you by letting It flow! Disciple!
