“Thank God For His Mercy”
GREETINGS FROM THE TEMPLE ….
“Thank God for His Mercy!”
We have all been victim, in one way or another, to this COVID pandemic. For some of us, our family members, close friends, or associates, have been afflicted with the disease. Listening to the daily news reporting on the number of people who have tested positive, gotten the disease, and/or have succumbed to the disease, has affected us also.
“We’re fortunate we have an Awesome God! In the midst of this COVID, He is still God and He is still Good!” – Pastor Victor S. Brice
These past nine months have been filled with grief, heart ache, depression, and despondence due to personal losses or hearing about the losses of others. Yet, there are family and friends that seem less affected by this pandemic than others.
Ever wonder why?
“Crisis will come, but it is how we respond that matters.” – Pastor Victor S. Brice
What is the correct response?
Believers will not allow a crisis to consume them. Believers know that God has a plan for them – they know that He will eventually reveal His Plan. While waiting, put your trust in Him. Lean on Him for comfort and guidance. Turn to His Word – turn to Him. Praise Him during your storms – struggles – heartaches. Focus on His Goodness and Mercy which has brought you this far.
“What a God we have! And how fortunate we are to have Him, this Father of our Master Jesus! Because Jesus was raised from the dead, we’ve been given a brand-new life and have everything to live for, including a future in heaven – and the future starts now!” – 1 Peter 1:3 (MSG).
Thank God every day, for His Goodness and Mercy, seen or unseen. No pouting allowed! Connect with the Lord – connect with His Word – connect with your prayers – connect with your patience – connect with your service. Wait on the Lord! God’s plans for you are better than anything you could ever fathom. Praise Him! Give Him the glory! Thank God for His Mercy!
“Here on earth, you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.” – John 16:33 (NLT).
