“Stop Hindering God!”

GREETINGS FROM THE TEMPLE …

“Stop Hindering God!”

We do many things in our daily lives that are a hinderance to God. Lets all think on this for a moment. Ask yourself: “What am I doing that’s hindering God?” or “What am I doing that’s blocking God?” Let me narrow this down a little more. In our Thursday Teleconference Bible Study, we’ve been studying from the book: “God Cures”, by Damon Davis.

Pastor Brice has introduced us to this book so that we may take a serious look at our health life- style. For reasons unknown, many of us have developed the mind-set that we are not responsible for maintaining good health. As Christians, we tend to concentrate on our spiritual health while neglecting our mental and physical health.

“Your physical, mental, and spiritual health are connected. When one is out of whack, it will affect the others.” – Pastor Victor S. Brice

Are health principles really a part of the Bible?

I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”       – John 10:10 (KJV)

The apostle John is referring to the rich and full eternal life that Jesus gives. It begins when you ask Him to come into your life. It covers your spiritual health, mental health, and physical health.

“You and I were not created for sickness. We were created to live an abundant life: healthy, happy, whole. God’s Will is for us not to be sick.” – Pastor Victor S. Brice

You can’t live an abundant life while unhealthy – sick with disease – afflicted with addictions: food – drink – substances. We often over-indulge – become addicted to food – drink – and use substances while trying to cover our depressions – anxieties – and troubles. Over-indulging is the cause of many diseases and afflictions.

“Too much of anything is not good for you.” – Pastor Victor S. Brice

I encourage you to tune in to our Bible Study Teleconference calls on Tuesday and Thursday nights 7:00pm to 8:00pm at (888) 633-1082 for a Word that will help you mentally – physically – and spiritually. Staying in the Word is fuel for your spiritual and mental health. Developing good exercise habits and good eating habits is fuel for your physical health. Maintain the right source with the right fuel. Stay in the Word – exercise – eat healthy. Stop hindering God!

“Living in Victory!”

GREETINGS FROM THE TEMPLE …

“Living in Victory!”

Victory! What does it mean to live in victory? Do you consider yourself to be victorious? What is victory? Questions – questions – questions? Let’s start with defining victory. Victory is a conquest – a triumph – a dominion – a defeating or winning over something. Can you relate to any of these? How about: mission accomplished or successful achievement? Now you have it.

“For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.” – 1 John 5:4 (NIV)

A relationship with God changes our meaningless worldly endeavors into victory – we triumph over things of the world. By His grace and by His love we are overcomers –we’ve got the victory.

“It is not God’s Will for us to walk in defeat. It’s God’s Will that we live a life of victory.”     –  Pastor Victor S. Brice

Not only does our relationship with God give us victory, we must also have the mind-set and attitude of victory. Don’t even think about defeat or give it any consideration. God gave us the gift of victory through His Son, through the Blood of Jesus. Therefore, we must accept this gift of victory. We must think victorious and choose to be victorious.

“We must think victorious. You are who you think you are.” – Pastor Victor S. Brice

“But thanks be to God! He gave us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”       – 1 Corinthians 15:57 (NIV)

Now, are you ready for your Super Bowl recognition? Every win orchestrated by God is a Super Bowl win! Wow! Think about all your successes – victories. Think about all you’ve overcome. That was your Super Bowl! You got the victory! Where’s your trophy? Look in the mirror! Look harder! God created us in His own image. Do you see a living, breathing representative of God? In God we win. We are a living, breathing, victory. Keep on living in victory – keep on winning!

“A Look at Precision Partnership”

GREETINGS FROM THE TEMPLE …

“A Look at Precision Partnership”

Our Sunday Sermon was about: “The Power of Precision Partnership.” This decade will be defined by who we are attached to and we must make sure we’re attached to or partnered with the right one.

“Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labor.”      – Ecclesiastes 4:9 (KJV)

There are different partnerships. However, for this writing, I’m referring to your partnership or relationship, with your best friend, your “ride or die”.  Spouse, son, daughter, father, mother, sister, brother, co-worker, can all fall in the category of “best friend.”  I may have left someone out but, you get my drift.

What does a precision partnership look like?

To define precision in this instance implies or relates to exactness or closeness. The right one.

“The right partner produces the right success.” – Pastor Victor S. Brice

Who do you have a close partnership or relationship with?

Before you answer this question, I’m going to bring up a series of questions for you to think about. Is this the someone who will catch you when you fall?  Who you can lean on when you’re at your low point? Who will help you get back on track when you go off track?  Can you depend on this person: emotionally, financially, spiritually?  Wow!  This should narrow down the field a bit.

“You can’t prevail by yourself – you’ll need a partner. You’ll also need a third party.”                                  – Pastor Victor S. Brice

Pastor Brice also said that we’d need a third party involved in our partnership. The Holy Ghost. Yes, the Holy Spirit is the Power in your precision partnership. There are some things you can’t do even in a partnership with another. Two will have extra strength but Three will be the Power behind that strength. You’ll need a Third Party.

Speaking of Three: The Father, the Son, the Holy Ghost! Your partnership will need The Three in order to succeed. Partner with God and allow Him to be the Precision in your partnership.

“You Have The Power!”

GREETINGS FROM THE TEMPLE …

“You Have the Power”

The word has gone out. Pastor Brice has made the call. By now you should be in the middle of or nearing the end of your “7-Day 7-Hour Fast & Pray”. Your time schedule should be set. And while you are fasting and praying you should be interceding on the behalf of others.

“Take five or six people with you and fast and pray.” – Pastor Victor S. Brice

We all need to be delivered from something that is personal to us. You may view it as a bad habit, but a worldly habit is a sinful habit. A sinful habit that, for whatever reason, you can’t seem to shake – drop – or conquer.

“For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.” – 2 Timothy 1:7 (NIV)

“God put a power in you – speak to the Mountain.” – Pastor Victor S. Brice

Still not being delivered after fasting and praying? “O ye of little faith!”

“Then Jesus answered and said, ‘O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I suffer you?’” – Matthew 17:17 (KJV)

In our Sunday Leadership class, we learned that:

There are three reasons why we aren’t being delivered:

  • Lack of faith   2)   Lack of prayer   3)   Lack of fasting

2 Timothy 1:7 confirms that God has given us the spirit of power, of love, and of self-discipline. Combine these attributes with faith – prayer – and fasting. Believe that all things are possible with God. Believe that it’s getting ready to happen. Witness the miraculous results.

Followers of Christ, now is the time, tap into the spirit of power, of love, and of self-discipline that the Lord has given you. Use it for Solomon Temple’s Mission:

Word – Worship – Witness – Winning souls to Christ.

“Are You All In?”

HELLO FROM THE TEMPLE …

“Are You All In?”

Are you all in? Locked in? Do I have your full attention? Being a member of any team requires participation – motivation – dedication – concentration. It requires you to be in sync with all members of the team – be on the same page – have the same goal – the same mind-set.

Pastor Brice, being led by the Holy Spirit, has called on us, Solomon Temple, to join in a “Fast and pray”. We will focus totally on God – we will separate ourselves from everything except God. “Fast and pray” 7 hours a day for 7 days. You can pick the 7 hours. Our shepherd knows that if he picked the hours there would be some resistance: “I can’t!” “I have commitments!”  Therefore, to eliminate excuses, he has asked us to pick the hours. Will you be ready?

“If you want to be victorious, put faith on it. Faith puts a smile on God’s face.”– Pastor Victor S. Brice

Without hesitation we will step out on faith. We will seek Him first. Keeping God in it is the only way to win it! Keep your mind stayed on Jesus. He is the Fast in your “Fast and pray”. He is the Head of your life – He is Head of your team.

Quit trying to do things on your own. You are not alone – stop acting like it! You’ve heard from your shepherd, your coach. You have your instructions. Your next order of business is to go directly to the Head of the team. Go directly to God!

“A coach will represent the team by setting the tone for the team.” – Pastor Victor S. Brice

You already know that our shepherd, coach, man of God has already prayed on it. Our coach will lead the team, God will see us through to the win. Put your whole heart into it. Trust and believe with your whole heart.

“I, however, followed the Lord my God wholeheartedly.” – Joshua 14:8 (NIV)

Start now, go into prayer now because the “Fast and pray” is coming. God is Power – Cohesiveness – Winning – God is Fast!  Be all in! Fast and pray! It’s already done!

“Destination, 2020”

HELLO FROM THE TEMPLE …

“Destination, 2020”

Have you made the decision as to where you are going in 2020? What’s your destination for 2020? No, I’m not referring to fun, relaxation, or a pleasure vacation or getaway. I’m referring to growing your relationship with God. How do you get there?

“Stop hanging out with losers.” – Pastor Victor S. Brice

This may sound harsh, but it’s a must do, because losers will take you where they are going: “Destination – nowhere!”

“In order to be a success, you must surround yourself with success.” – Pastor Victor S. Brice

You can’t build success while staying content with your relationship with God. It’s time to take your relationship with God to the next level. Time to build on your relationship with God. No matter how good – how strong – your relationship – there will always be room for growth.

Set your 2020 destination for spiritual growth – to grow your relationship with God. How do you get there? Under the leadership and teachings of our pastor, Rev. Victor S. Brice. Pastor Brice is our soul watcher. He is being led by the Holy Spirit – he is under God’s Supervision to watch over our souls. He is a man of God. Trust him to lead you in the right direction.

Read: Exodus Chapter 14. God gave instructions to Moses, which Moses gave to the Israelites. The Israelites followed Moses’ instructions and were delivered. The sea was parted, the Israelites crossed the sea on dry land.

There will be roadblocks, from time to time. Roadblocks are natural – take them in stride. Life happens. Life will always get in the way of your plans. Give the controls to God. He will either take you around them or create a path straight through them. Put your plans in God’s hands and wait on miraculous results.

As God delivers on His Promises, your faith and trust in God will grow. But, don’t stop there. Continue to grow your plans and watch as they continue to succeed. Remember: You are not alone – stop acting like it. Step out on faith. Let faith work for you!  Destination, 2020 – success!

“Get It Done!”

GREETINGS FROM THE TEMPLE …

“Get It Done!”

What did you spend 2019 procrastinating on? What were your good intentions? “I meant to …” “I started to …” “I planned on …”  What happened?  What got in the way? Not enough time – no motivation – no encouragement – didn’t execute a good plan? Did you seek Him first?

“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” – Matthew 6:33 (NIV)

How many times do you need to hear this Scripture before you start to include God in everything you do?  You already know that with God all things are possible, therefore when you include God in your plans your accomplishments will be limitless.

“Get it done – move from imagination to manifestation.” – Pastor Victor S. Brice

A plan remains a vision until it’s written down. When you can literally see it – you can begin to work on it. Work on it daily. As you begin to complete the initial plan, start adding to it. Any good plan has room for growth. As you go to God daily you will grow in your faith – as will your plan grow and evolve.

“Make a plan – write it down – get it done!” – Pastor Victor S. Brice

Key thoughts from our Leadership Lesson: Be optimistic – write your plan down – plan on getting it done. It doesn’t have to be perfect – leave it alone once it is done – you might have to leave some people out of your plan – you can still love them from afar. Start early in the morning – on your knees. Talk to God – He’ll see you through your plan. Stop announcing your plans – announce the completion. Take care of you during the process – reward yourself. Journal the on-going results – write it down. Seeing how you’re getting things done is therapeutic.

2020 is almost here. What is your plan – your destination for 2020? Make your plan – complete it – arrive at your destination. First, I invite you all to attend our 08:00 am Sunday Leadership class. It’s an awesome opportunity to get under the teachings and leadership of our pastor, Rev. Victor S. Brice. Then, arm yourself with The Tool – The Master Plan. Once properly armed, you’ll be covered in Success.

Only with God will you be able to move from imagination to manifestation. 2020, here we come! Armed with The Tool – the Master Planner – Covered in Success!  The excitement is brewing!  Get it done!

“Are You Ready?”

GREETINGS FROM THE TEMPLE …

“Are You Ready?”

Are you ready for the fast approaching 2020 New Year? Well, lets all get ready! Start your prayers now! Then meet us at The Temple, on Watch-Night, for corporate prayer as we praise God for providing His Protection – Provision – Love – throughout 2019. And pray for 2020.

“The right approach to prayer will bring good results.” – Pastor V.S. Brice

Pastor Brice has given us an assignment:

Write a prayer letter to God. By faith, pray, and list 20 things you want God to do for you in the year 2020. Claim it!  Bring the letter to the church and place it at the altar.

“And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.” – John 14:13-14 (NIV)

This Scripture is key to your letter. Jesus is saying that whatever you ask for in His Name that brings glory and honor to God, He will provide. Remember, God is not selfish! Focus your prayers on God – on His unconditional love for us. Ask for what will bring Him the glory. This will eliminate all selfish prayers.

i.e. Pray for an increase in your faith – to be more loving – more giving and sharing with others – for all your family members to accept Jesus as their Savior – to become a better disciple – pray for the church building project to come to fruition. These examples were written in order to put you on the right prayer path. Make your prayer letters to God personal.

Once you have written your prayer letter to God, place it in a stamped envelope addressed to yourself. The return address should be that of the church: Solomon Temple Ministries International (STMI) 655 California Av., Pittsburg, CA 94565.

“Do it like Jesus and you’ll see results like Jesus.” – Pastor V.S. Brice

“I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these….” – John 14:12 (NIV)

Later in the year, 2020, your letter will be mailed back to you. You’ll be able to read your prayer letter and see how God is moving in your life.

“What Kind of Work Do You Do?”

GREETINGS FROM THE TEMPLE …

“What Kind of Work Do You Do?”

“Team-work makes the dream work.”  How often do you hear this statement?  It’s possible that you won’t hear this statement at all if you’re not part of a team. However when you work with one or more persons as a team in: church, employment, sports, entertainment, etc., you’ll hear this, oh, so true, statement quite often.

No matter what your skillset, when you combine your skills with those of another, it makes for a winning combination. God gave each of us gifts and skills so that we may glorify Him by using what He has given us to help each other – to work together – to build each other up.

“Now the body is not made up of one part but of many.” – 1 Corinthians 12:14 (NIV)

The church body is not supported by one person, but by all of us. We are strongest when working together in unity – working as a team. Teamwork is the key to doing God’s will.

“Churches that make a difference operate as a unit.” – Pastor V.S. Brice

Be on one accord with each other. Opposing goals – goals that move in opposite directions – will never end in collaboration – you’ll never accomplish anything – you’ll never win. You’ll be like the “energizer bunny” or a story without an end. You’ll keep going, going, and going. You must set goals – achieve those goals – then set new goals. God will keep lifting you!

“God puts us together and expects us to achieve goals.” – Pastor V.S. Brice

Yes, you can, and you will achieve some things on your own. However, you must get God involved. Let your light shine with the light of others, it will become a beacon – a fiery, guiding light that is pleasing to God. You’ll have miraculous accomplishments when your team is God-Centered.

What kind of work do you do? The correct answer: “Teamwork. I’m on God’s Team.”

“Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.” – Matthew 5:16 (NIV)

“Have You Heard?”

GREETINGS FROM THE TEMPLE …

“Have You Heard?”

Have I heard what? The Word! What word? The Word! The Word is so much more than an Adjective or a Noun. The Word of God – the Word is God – the Word has Power – the Word is Power. The Word is healing – comforting – convicting – confessing –converting – Power! WOW! Word O’ Word! Name above all names!

“The Word of God will get you in right alignment.” – Pastor V.S. Brice

Pastor Brice was associating the duties of a chiropractor to what God will do for you. The chiropractor will stretch and pull your muscles in order to make them line-up with your spinal cord. God, on the other hand, will get your mind, body, heart and soul in right alignment with Him. How?  Just let go – let God!  Won’t He do It?    Now, for the Word:

“For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God’s sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous.” – Romans 2:13 (NIV)

“When your spinal cord is in alignment you can breathe better.” – Pastor V.S. Brice

Look at what a mechanic and a chiropractor can do. A mechanic will align your car so that it runs better. A chiropractor will align your spinal cord so that your body will function better – you’ll even breathe better. Now, look at God!

God will bring rain to your life to wash away your sufferings: pain, grief, sorrow. He’ll show you that trouble does not last always. He’ll heal the sick – pour His Strength into the weak – lift-up the down-hearted with comfort – He’ll listen to your confessions – He’ll convict you when you need convicting. God is your Rainmaker- Healer – Strength – Comforter – Judge – Counselor – Joy – Peace – Love!

We all need God. We are not a perfect people. Align yourself with God. Pray! Prayers showing your trust, faith, and gratitude will activate the Peace of God – the Holy Spirit that lives within you. You’ll receive Peace that exceeds all understanding. The Word:

“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts.” – Colossians 3:13 (NIV)
