“Pray Without Ceasing”
As we journey through our 60-Day Challenge to grow in our relationship with Christ, I am using the apostle Paul’s words – “Pray without ceasing.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:17 (KJV)
“Pray without ceasing!” Paul gave these instructions to the Thessalonians to encourage them to lead lives worthy of Christ’s Kingdom. I am using Paul’s words now to encourage us as we grow in our relationship with Christ.
To pray without ceasing means not to let anything hinder you. Don’t let anything stop you from praying. It also means to pray in earnest and without weariness. Pray with enthusiasm – with a joyful spirit. Pray what is in your heart – from your heart. Ask God to lead you in your prayers. Praying is a time to “Let go and let God!” There is no prayer too short or too long. When God leads – prayer succeeds!
Until we meet again – be encouraged during our 60-Day Challenge. God is with you! When God is with you – Winning is in you!
