“Are You Available?”
Pastor Brice has started teaching a series titled: “Are You Available to Serve?” He started teaching from Mark Chapter 10.
“For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.” – Mark 10:45 (NLT).
Jesus came to earth to serve others and to give His life as a sacrificial ransom for us. He died for our salvation. We could never do enough – share enough – give enough – to be deserving of this gift of life – a truly, Good and Perfect gift.
“Every gift that God has given you is good and perfect.” – Pastor Victor S. Brice
“Every good and perfect gift is from above.” – James 1:17 (NIV).
Pastor Brice elaborated further on this Scripture and said: “Every gift from God comes with a goal attached.” To God be the Glory! This is God’s goal for us. Give Him the glory! Acknowledge Him and thank Him for your gifts: career – house – car – treasure – essential needs. Lift your voice and praise Him – acknowledge Him – because it is not about you making it on your own – having victory over your adversaries – succeeding in your endeavors. It is all God! He made a way for all that you have now, all that you had in the past, and all that you will have in the future.
As we move forward in 2021, make the declaration that is in your heart verbally known to God. Show Him by serving. To serve others is to serve Him! Get away from the cliché of always thinking that God knows what is in your heart. Yes, He knows, however, He wants you to act on what is in your heart. Demonstrate your love for Him by doing – serving – giving – helping others. While you’re at it, do your serving willingly – cheerfully – without grudge or malice. Without expecting something in return.
“Don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. ‘For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.’” – 2 Corinthians 9:7b (NLT).
