Today at the Temple | Dec 1

Solomon Temple Rocks! Even when our pastor is away, we are still fed The True Word and have a Holy Ghost filled time. We give it up to the Master because as the Praise Team sung we know Everything We Have Belongs to Him and no matter what we go through, we realize that it is God that Brought us Through. He’ll Never Walk Out on Us. He’s the only one that holds everything in His hands. We had such a great time today at the Temple. In Pastor Victor S. Brice’s absence, The Temple’s own Minister Geneva Ashley brought forth The Word in an eye opening and thought provoking sermon. I loved how she reminded us how amazing God is and how we need to mind our own business and stay out of God’s business.

Stop trying to tell Him what to do. Minister Ashley shows in the Bible that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and will be the same tomorrow. He is the same miracle worker of yesterday. Nothing; not even your circumstances can change that. Nothing can diminish His power. I take comfort in knowing this because it lets me know that during my darkest days and most trying times – when I’m in the valley – I can count on the Master to bring me out. He’s proven himself time and time again just how great He is and just how much He cares about us. He’s proven to us over and over that He does not need us to tell Him what to do. He’s Got Us!!! God has had your back in even your yesterday! Amazing! He is with us always and will never leave us. There will be rough times. There will be times when things seem unfair, but trust and believe dear hearts – that God is doing a work while you’re in that valley. Stay prayerful. Stand firm. He is reconstructing and developing a new you! He’s knocking things away, adding things and working it out for your good.

We say He is the head of our life so let’s not put Him away when we’re in the Valley. When we’re “going through” let’s ask ourselves Is He still ________? Fill in the blank. Is He still your Provider? Your Comforter? Your Healer? Your Deliverer? Your Master? Your Everything? Stay with Him – even in the Valley — because He is staying with you. He will never leave you. Never. Keep the Faith saints. Nearly 20 people proclaimed that they Wanna Be Where He is when the Spirit moved them to step forward for prayer, healing and reaffirming their commitment to the Lord. If you’re in the Pittsburg area, please come join us on Sunday mornings and I encourage those that are not to join us on our live-stream.

God Bless You.

Today at the Temple | Nov 25

Turn up! Turn up! The Spirit Turned Up and Showed out again! I can’t even begin to tell you how much of a good time we have at Solomon Temple. We have such a good time because we know that God is Good. Isn’t He? His presence was high at the Temple this Sunday as the saints praised Him in prayer, song and dance. Our souls poured out and Blessed the Lord. We are Grateful to Him every day and especially during this Thanksgiving Holiday Season. As Pastor Victor S. Brice continues to teach about the importance of having a relationship with God, we must learn how to be obedient to Him. Listen to the voice of God and to trust what He is doing in our lives. Some of us are bodacious enough to protest God.

What say you? Complaining about your station and situation are acts of protest against God. Don’t’ complain. Be grateful. Be thankful. Pray for growth and increase instead of complaining. We should also remember that we are in a two-sided relationship. We have needs, but have you stopped to think that God has needs? What?? Yes. Dear hearts — in order for this relationship to grow, God needs us to stay in His will by giving thanks in all things. God needs us to be obedient to His Word.

Good needs us to acknowledge Him during the good and bad times. If things are upside down in your life Throw them hands up! Throw them hands up! Lift your voice and praise Him because our Father will hear you and will surely Turn Up for you! Be thankful in all things and acknowledge the Lord. It is the will of God concerning you. The sweet Holy Spirit moved several saints to acknowledge His power with their prayer requests — acknowledging that when one or two are gathered in His name, He will be in the midst. Hallelujah! Glory to God.

If you’re in the Pittsburg, CA area, I encourage you to join us on Sunday mornings. Come taste and see that the Lord is Good. Your spirit will be fed.

Today at the Temple | Nov 18

What a time! What a Time! What a Time! If you weren’t there you missed it! The Spirit was High Today at the Temple. The saints Came to Lift Him Up in Prayer, Song, and Dance!!! The Praise Team, The Men’s Choir and The Praise Dancers did just that in glorious fashion. Because as Pastor Brice sang, Jesus is Real. Can’t you feel Him? My soul is still full! I can feel Him in my heart. I can feel Him in my soul. Jesus is definitely real. That is why it is so important for us to get into a relationship with God and most importantly, to grow that relationship. As Pastor Brice continues to teach us, the only way to grow your relationship with God is to not only hear The Word, but to learn it. Really learn it. The Bible teaches us that The Word of God is profitable – that which is of value — that which will return a gain. The Word of God gives us wisdom. It tells us what is right, what is wrong, how to get right and how to stay right. It is the very reason the enemy does EVERYTHING he can to take our focus off of The Word. Like Pastor Brice reminds us, Satan will use his many devices to distract us, tempt us, deceive us, and separate us from the Word of God. Dear hearts, knowledge is power. The Word of God gives us wisdom to recognize the enemy. It gives us the power to stand against the wiles of enemy. Learn it and hide it in your heart. Don’t let Satan steal your power!!! Let’s pay attention to his covert operations and attempts to take our focus off of The Word. Let’s build our relationship with God. It’s always amazing and joyous to see the Holy Spirit move with His gentle, yet powerful might. Several saints gave their life to Christ Today at the Temple. Hallelujah! If you haven’t already done so, give your life to Christ. Nothing is better than falling in love with Jesus. It is the best relationship you’ll ever have. If you’re in the Pittsburg, CA area, I encourage you to join us on Sunday mornings.

Peace be unto you,

It’s Time To Move!

As this year is about to end and as we prepare to start a New Year take a look at your self and say these words ,I am going to leave the broken Irreversible past in the Hands of God and Now I am going to step into the Invincible Future with God. Its time to walk into the Season God has planned for you.

‘ITS TIME TO MOVE’

How Do We Make Better Choices? Joshua 24:14

How do we move from dabbling in crazy and allowing the enemy to take us down a path of darkness, destruction and despair to moving in a direction where peace, power, an prosperity abide, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”. ~ Jeremiah 29:11.

Joshua spoke to the Israelites and told them about the great things God had done for this people and for their fathers before them. He exhorted them to fear and serve the Lord alone, an to put away their idol gods, in gratitude for what God had done for them. Joshua Presents them with a choice, “choose ye whom youy will serve.” Like the Israelites, we are faced with making the choice of choosing the things of this world or setting our sights on things that please and honor God. We have a choice everyday regarding the attitude and actions we will embrace for that day.

Apostle Paul says, “For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not that I do,” then the question is, how do we avoid the ” Bait of Satan” and begin to make better choices for our life?

“When our relationship with Christ becomes the priority in our life and not our fleshly desires; Chirst renews, transforms, and empowers us with the desire to make better choices. When we make the decision to submit and surrender ourselves, our families, career, finances, possessions, needs, skills and abilities to Him who loved us so much that He shed His blood for us; He renews, transforms, and empowers us with the desire to make better choices, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.”~ Proverbs 3:5-6.

When we really commit to becoming the “salt of the earth, the light of the world and a city on a hill that cannot be hidden,” to reveal and point others to Christ so his kingdom will increase, He renews, transforms, and empowers us with the desire to make better choices. When we express our deepest desire for the Lord Jesus by doing His will, His way, and obey Him completely; He renews, transforms, and empowers us with the desire to make better choices, which will ultimately yield~peace, power, and prosperity.

Choices Joshua 24:14-16

Joshua brought the Israelites together and the Lord renewed His covenant with them. Joshua told the Israelites to fear the Lord and serve Him alone. Joshua told them to put away their Idols gods that they were worshiping. Joshua gave them a choice that if they would turn from God and worship other gods, God would abandon them and destroy them even though God had been good to them. Joshua took time to challenge the people of Israel on there commitment to God. Todays question for each one of us is what is our commitment to God?

Are you scared of making a Commitment

When we think of the word commitment, we often think about how it applies to our personal relationship with our spouse. But Commitment comes in many forms, and the Bible talks in depth about these forms. There is not only commitment to spouse, but there is commitment to God, to our spiritual path and leading to a good life.

What is the biblical meaning of commitment?

Answer: Commitment is obedience, trusting, and a slave, serving and surrendering actions to the person you are committed to. For example, when you commit to Jesus you are saying that you will obey, trust, be a slave of and surrender to Jesus.

In reference to Psalms 37: 3-5 there are some Benefits to being Committed to God.

  • God will make your burdens lighter
  • God will make your walk righter
  • God will make your life brighter

So as we make this commitment to God, also know there is danger in turning back once you have made the commitment.

Be blessed to all readers of my blog is my prayer for this week.
