“Praise Through Song”
Lyrics of some of our many gospel songs of today are derived from the book of Psalm, which was written as poetry expressions of praise, worship, and confessions. We know that God wants to hear from us, so what better way to praise Him than through His Word.
Psalm 121:1 (KJV) “I will lift mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.”
Psalm 121:7 (KJV) “The Lord will keep you from all harm – he will watch over your life.”
Total Praise – lyrics by: Richard Smallwood: Lord, I will lift mine eyes to the hills – Knowing my help is coming from You – Your peace You give me in time of the storm – You are the source of my strength – You are the strength of my life – I lift my hands in total praise to You. Amen
Surrender and feel the Spirit as you sing gospel songs – prayers and praises – to God. God wants to hear from you! Gospel songs were written for every voice. You will sound beautiful even if you think you’re singing off-key. Why? Because you will awake God’s Spirit in you. With God’s Spirit you will never be off-key. Praise Him … and … Stay Connected!
Blessings!
