“Check Your Connection!”

For the past few months our pastor, Rev. Victor S. Brice, has been taking us through a series of teachings on winning. Have you ever wondered why you haven’t won your battle? We all have battles; they are a part of life. However, when you consistently lose, even though you are putting up a good fight, doing all the right things, you start to ask yourself; What am I doing wrong?

Check your Connection!

Prayer – Word – Worship – Witnessing – Winning

Yes, all the above keeps you connected to God. All the above will help you cross the finish line.

When you pray, you’re talking to God. When you read His Word, God is talking to you. You must have a two-way conversation to stay connected. Once you’re connected, go ahead and make the connection stronger and remain steadfast in prayer then heed His Word. (You’re now taking the lead in the race.)

Your race is strong at this point, however, let’s give you another burst of energy. Let’s get you across the finish line. Worship. Yes, worship Him. Show God, you love Him by your actions. Stay true to His Word by living His Word – show God that you love Him. Praise His Holy Name. Attend church with fellow believers. Sing – shout – praise!

You’re passing by the Witnessing stand. It is now tell-all time. As a matter of fact, shout it out! Tell everyone how good God has been to you. Share your personal experience how God is working in your life. It’s ok to share or witness to others how you’ve seen God working in someone else’s life also.

Heading towards the finish line. Winning. Yes, keep moving, keep on running your winning race. Your race will not end until you cross over to the Other Side. You can’t stop now. As long as you have breath.
