Today at the Temple | Nov 18
What a time! What a Time! What a Time! If you weren’t there you missed it! The Spirit was High Today at the Temple. The saints Came to Lift Him Up in Prayer, Song, and Dance!!! The Praise Team, The Men’s Choir and The Praise Dancers did just that in glorious fashion. Because as Pastor Brice sang, Jesus is Real. Can’t you feel Him? My soul is still full! I can feel Him in my heart. I can feel Him in my soul. Jesus is definitely real. That is why it is so important for us to get into a relationship with God and most importantly, to grow that relationship. As Pastor Brice continues to teach us, the only way to grow your relationship with God is to not only hear The Word, but to learn it. Really learn it. The Bible teaches us that The Word of God is profitable – that which is of value — that which will return a gain. The Word of God gives us wisdom. It tells us what is right, what is wrong, how to get right and how to stay right. It is the very reason the enemy does EVERYTHING he can to take our focus off of The Word. Like Pastor Brice reminds us, Satan will use his many devices to distract us, tempt us, deceive us, and separate us from the Word of God. Dear hearts, knowledge is power. The Word of God gives us wisdom to recognize the enemy. It gives us the power to stand against the wiles of enemy. Learn it and hide it in your heart. Don’t let Satan steal your power!!! Let’s pay attention to his covert operations and attempts to take our focus off of The Word. Let’s build our relationship with God. It’s always amazing and joyous to see the Holy Spirit move with His gentle, yet powerful might. Several saints gave their life to Christ Today at the Temple. Hallelujah! If you haven’t already done so, give your life to Christ. Nothing is better than falling in love with Jesus. It is the best relationship you’ll ever have. If you’re in the Pittsburg, CA area, I encourage you to join us on Sunday mornings.
Peace be unto you,

Choices Joshua 24:14-16
Joshua brought the Israelites together and the Lord renewed His covenant with them. Joshua told the Israelites to fear the Lord and serve Him alone. Joshua told them to put away their Idols gods that they were worshiping. Joshua gave them a choice that if they would turn from God and worship other gods, God would abandon them and destroy them even though God had been good to them. Joshua took time to challenge the people of Israel on there commitment to God. Todays question for each one of us is what is our commitment to God?
Are you scared of making a Commitment
When we think of the word commitment, we often think about how it applies to our personal relationship with our spouse. But Commitment comes in many forms, and the Bible talks in depth about these forms. There is not only commitment to spouse, but there is commitment to God, to our spiritual path and leading to a good life.
What is the biblical meaning of commitment?
Answer: Commitment is obedience, trusting, and a slave, serving and surrendering actions to the person you are committed to. For example, when you commit to Jesus you are saying that you will obey, trust, be a slave of and surrender to Jesus.
In reference to Psalms 37: 3-5 there are some Benefits to being Committed to God.
- God will make your burdens lighter
- God will make your walk righter
- God will make your life brighter
So as we make this commitment to God, also know there is danger in turning back once you have made the commitment.
Be blessed to all readers of my blog is my prayer for this week.

‘A Prayer for our members and friends’
‘Weighed Down with Worry on insurmontable problems’
1 Peter 5:7 ‘Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.’
Father you word, ‘Says cast our cares upon you’, because you care for us. So God, I need you because I am full of stress and anxiety. God reading your words brings me comfort and now I ask you God to come and take my heavy burdens. I lay each one atyour feet so that you God can carry them so that I don’t have to. So God do this in your name I pray. Amen
